Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the lrnit website at lrnit.app and the lrnit learning service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a course, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by lrnit ("lrnit", "we", "us", or "our"). lrnit is operated by [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME], a company registered in the United Arab Emirates ([emirate / free zone], commercial registration / licence no. [—]), with a registered address at [registered address].
You can reach us at hello@lrnit.app for any question about these Terms.
2. The Service
lrnit builds each learner a personalized, objective-driven curriculum, teaches it, and measures whether capability actually moved. Courses, lessons, assessments, and feedback are generated for you using artificial intelligence. lrnit also offers an organization ("team") edition where an administrator can provision seats, assign courses, and view their members' progress.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce core functionality.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Notify us promptly at hello@lrnit.app if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Plans — Free, Plus, Pro, and Teams
The Free plan lets you generate a course and learn it at full quality — the same models and generation engine used for paid plans. Free is limited in quantity (the number of courses you can generate) and does not unlock certain surfaces such as the final exam, the capability proof, the certificate, audio narration, and hands-on coding-project lessons.
Paid consumer plans (Plus and Pro) unlock those surfaces and lift quantity limits, as described on the pricing page. Organization plans (Teams) are provisioned per seat under a separate order or agreement.
We never downgrade the quality of the Free plan to control cost, and we do not serve cached or pre-generated courses in place of a freshly generated one.
5. Payments, billing & Merchant of Record
Payments for paid consumer subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates ("Paddle"), which act as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription, your order is fulfilled by Paddle, the charge appears from Paddle, and Paddle is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to that transaction.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as you choose) and renew automatically until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method for each renewal at the then-current price for your plan and interval.
We may change prices. Price changes apply to future billing periods, not the current one, and we will give reasonable advance notice. Organization (Teams) billing is handled by invoice or bank transfer under a separate order form, billed per provisioned seat.
6. Cancellations & refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or generated content except as expressly permitted;
- attempt to access another user's or organization's data, probe or breach security or access controls, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract content, or use automated means to place excessive load on the Service or circumvent rate limits;
- reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, or that you do not have the right to submit.
We may apply rate limits, quotas, and a global generation ceiling to protect the Service. We may suspend access that we reasonably believe is abusive.
8. AI-generated content
Courses, lessons, assessments, explanations, and feedback are generated by large language models and other AI systems. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The Service is for educational purposes and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. Verify anything important before you rely on it.
Assessments and certificates reflect performance on lrnit and are not accredited qualifications unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
9. Intellectual property & content
The Service — including its software, design, and the underlying systems — is owned by lrnit and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while these Terms are in effect.
You retain ownership of the inputs you provide (for example, your goals and answers). You grant us a licence to process those inputs to operate and improve the Service. Subject to your payment of any applicable fees, content generated for you is licensed to you for your own learning and internal use. For organization (Teams) accounts, course templates and company knowledge belong to the organization.
We do not use your personal data or your private content to train AI models, and our AI providers are engaged under terms that do not grant them the right to train on the data we send. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting, database and authentication, AI model gateways, payments, and analytics). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms where relevant. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate or fit for your purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, lrnit and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us (or paid to Paddle for the Service) in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold lrnit harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of [emirate, e.g. Dubai] will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer.
